Judean Desert

Drive through the remarkable scenery of the Judean desert, passing on route the Inn of the Good Samaritan.
Enjoy breathtaking views of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea until you will reach the lowest place on Earth.

Masada

A short stop for a pic at sea level and we continue our descent below sea level.
After about an hour drive from Jerusalem we will reach Mt. Masada and ascend by cable car to the summit.
We will enjoy breathtaking views of the Judean desert and the Dead Sea from atop and Visit the excavations.
The King Herod’s fortress/palace, is a magnificent example of Herodian building achievements. Learn about the remarkable history of the site which was the last stronghold of the Jewish rabbles against the Roman Empire.

Dead Sea

Drive past Qumran, where the Dead Sea scrolls where found, towards one of the Dead Sea beaches. Weather permitting, we enjoy a relaxing float in the salty waters of the Dead Sea, savoring the tranquility of the desert and the red cliffs surrounding us. Be a sport and try out the Dead Sea mud, famous for its beneficial effects.
